Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Thankful you can order off the lunch menu. So I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and a roasted beet salad. Not much for beer on tap. So I ordered Mich golden light drafts.

I have been here multiple times through the years and love it every time. I don't explore the menu all that much because I simply love the campellini de mare. It really is in my top ten of any restaurant dish. My lady got the chicken parm. Did not fail. Great dishes. The only issue that I had was with the crab cake. It was tasty, but they used to much bread as filler and that made it dry out a little bit. I also love the service here. There is only one restaurant that has remotely better service. Come here and you will be satisfied at every turn.

Always try to stop in here when I'm in town. Personally prefer lighter pasta dishes, sans cream or cheese. Clam n asparagus pasta special hit the spot.
Chain Italian restaurants have a tendency to be disappointing. Maybe it's because my family is Italian, and/or maybe it's because I have visited Italy and eaten authentic food, but repeated experiences with soggy pasta and gritty "parmesan" has made me a pessimist. I didn't have high expectations for Biaggi's, but I was pleasantly suprised. The dining area is clean and classy with hardwood floors and cloth napkins. There is grated parmesan in a dish on the table, along with olive oil to dip your free table bread in. Full disclosure, bread baskets are probably at least half the reason I like Italian food so much. There are two types of bread served at Biaggi's. One is like a thinly sliced, crusty baguette (almost like a crostini) and the other is a flavorful and soft onion focaccia. At 5 pm on Tuesday the bread seemed a little dry and quite cold, but our waiter offered to refill it as soon as we finished the first serving. Far from the stingily provided breadsticks at some places... We ordered the cheese ravioli and a margherita pizza. The pizza was surprisingly large, probably over 13-14 inches across and enough food for two people (especially with the aforementioned bread). I really liked the crust. It was perfectly balanced between crispy and soft. There was a perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. The ravioli was rich and fluffy, and in a creamy, flavorful sauce. Of the two, the pizza is probably more food for your money. We also ordered a cocktail, and the tiramisu for dessert. The tiramisu was a generous portion and sprinkled with chocolate covered coffee beans, which provided an interesting contrast of textures. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I think Biaggi's will go on my list of "good date spots".

The food has been fabulous!! I'm here for a corp event. The food has been terrific however I really have to point out the wait staff!!! I have an allergy to tomatoes and while our dinner was all pre-ordered. The staff was so amazing to bring me each and every dish without the tomatoes once they discovered I have an issue. What amazingly accommodating folks...customer service get an a plus rating here from me

Consistently good food and service - though popular you can get a seat just showing up - A sure bet on a busy night!

Great lunch today! We were actually hoping for brunch but they open at 11 and don't serve breakfast items. I ordered the sherry tomato soup and Caesar salad and my daughter had crab cakes. Very good and fresh!

They have a gluten-free menu. Sweet! I love the way they don't make a federal case if you are gluten free. I had the risotto. It was delicious. The food came out very quickly and our waiter was nice. Then again, I was at this restaurant after lunch but before dinner (3:00 pm on a Sunday). I have no clue what it would be like when it's busy, but I had a nice early dinner/late lunch.

Without a doubt the best meal I've ever had. My friend and I split and shared the garlic shrimp oreganata and the lobster fettuccine.. It was out of this world. I also tried my other friend's salmon risotto and although I usually don't like salmon, it was delicious. We shared the warm apple crostata for dessert which was the perfect cherry on top of a delicious dinner. I'll definitely be going back!

We visit Biaggias frequently all the time, but the last few times were disappointing. The bread seemed old and crumbly and hard to eat. They did make a change to the shrimp oreganata because the last few times we were there it just wasn't the same. I know it wasn't just me because two of us had it and we both made the comment.

This used to, USED to, be a great place even though it is a chain place. USED to be one of our favorite place to go to. Now, after this last time, no more. We won't be returning here. The quality have declined greatly over the years and the prices have definitely gone up. I ordered our favorite, risotto with asparagus and arugula roasted beets salad. Under seasoned, three small crumble of pistaschio, blob of unappetizing goat cheese, and limp spring mix with two arugula leaf. Two! The risotto was glue, asparagus large like tree trunks and stringy and I had to spit it out. Again, under seasoned. Bread that came with the table were dry and definitely stale with a weird smell to it, like it's been sitting there way too long. Uck. DON'T GO HERE. Seriously. Two stars because the staff was friendly.

My girlfriend and I dined here on August 22nd for dinner. We both work a lot so this was our "date night." I had made reservations for 7pm thinking a Friday night would be busy. My usual self, I got us there 3 min early. I told them I had reservations and the hostess proceeded to give me a pager and said, "we will notify you when we have a table." It wasn't "when we have YOUR table" but "a table." They don't seem to value reservations. But a few min later the hostess was yelling my name across the entry way. The pager never went off and seemed like a waste. We were seated and waited for your server. And we waited. And waited. We noticed 3 different servers in our area but none of which acknowledged us. The manager finally realized we weren't being helped and said he'd be sending someone over. Out server came and brought water and bread. They apologized for their confusion. We ordered salads to start and they brought the wrong salad for my girlfriend. Once I corrected them they went back to the kitchen to get the right one. The salads were ok. She had the Caesar and I had the wedge. Dinner came and the food was good. Very hot and flavorful. We ordered cannolis to go. Which, when we got home and took the first bite we found a hair. So much for those. The food here has usually been good. There was poor service and terrible communication between the wait staff. I had to have the bill corrected as well because they added an additional salad to my bill. I really hope they can improve their service here. It leaves a lot to be desired.

This chain restaurant has moved into the mediocre class of food. I ordered a cannelloni shrimp and crab in a lobster sauce. What I got was a few pieces of shrimp and crab mixed with cheese and stuffed in old pasta shells. Then they covered the plate in a cold cheese sauce that had no real lobster taste, more like some canned cheese with paprika sprinkled on top. It was easy to tell the food was assembled in a quick buffet assembly line in back and brought to the table. If I want average ingredients covered in cheese and sauce then I will go the that other Italian chain restaurant with all you can eat bread sticks
We stop here to refocus before hitting the road onto the prairie. We have to make a choice before even entering - dining room or casual bar. We usually opt for the casual bar where they remember us - just like Little Italy in NYC! I usually do the soup of the day and a salad (roasted beet or Messina). Deb either has a soup (chicken florentine) or house salad and a Margherita pizza. All good and satisfying. Put the good service together with the delicious food and we are ready to return to the land the prairie dwellers satisfied while looking forward to when we return.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I came here for the first time with my family and the service here was absolutely amazing and the food was beyond phenomenal. From the bread in the beginning to the entrée, everything was perfect to a tee. It is my new favorite Italian restaurant and we will definitely be coming back soon.

My fiancé got me dinner to go here tonight. I usually get the lobster fettucini but wanted something a little lighter. We got Chicken parm, capellini di mare (angel hair pasta with scallops, shrimp, clams mussels and calamari) with a Messina salad. Dinner came with bread. All for $40. Not bad. Chicken parm was solid. The capellini dish was very good and hit the spot. Great spicy tomato flavor. Wish there was more sauce , but other then that, would definitely order it again. Salad was ok. Loved the kalamata olives and capers in it.
